Mission
Mission Statement
The Clayton County Sheriff's Office protects the people of Clayton County and keeps the county's courts and jail running safely. Deputies patrol unincorporated Clayton, serve warrants and work alongside every agency that passes through the county.
Expectations
Deputies must be respectful, disciplined and dependable, with a calm radio voice and sound judgment under pressure. Applicants complete the CCSO academy and a field training period before working patrol on their own.
